Applied Behavioral Analysis

The Institute for Hope offers Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for an array of conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Developmental Disorders, PTSD, Panic Disorder and OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder).

Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is an approach that utilizes positive reinforcement to improve skills in the areas of behavior, social, learning and communication. ABA therapy utilizes behavioral approaches to set goals, reinforce behaviors, and measure outcomes. ABA therapy teaches desirable behaviors and reduces or extinguishes behaviors that are not desirable.

ABA therapy can improve an individual's life by:

Acquiring social and daily living skills

Developing cognitive abilities

Decreasing or extinguishing problem behaviors

Improving social connections

Improving language skills

Managing feelings of aggression and anxiety

Improving attention/focus
